Design Consultation & Concept Development
Helping some of the world's fastest brands realise the full potential of their vehicles, products and innovations.
With over 10 years of experience in automotive and industrial design, I've built a practice that focuses on creating bold, intelligent concepts grounded in both technical rigour and visual clarity. Whether I'm working on the future of motorsport or exploring the potential of next-generation products, I aim to sit at the intersection of performance, form, and storytelling—helping ambitious teams visualise what comes next.
Design thinking is at the heart of everything I do. It's not just a method—it's how I approach every challenge. My process balances user experience, engineering constraints, and aesthetics to produce designs that not only work but connect with people on a functional and emotional level.
Over the years, I've been fortunate enough to collaborate with some of the most respected names in motorsport and advanced engineering, including IndyCar, Dallara, and Red Bull Advanced Technologies. These projects have allowed me to contribute to vehicles where performance is paramount and where visual design plays a critical role in communicating speed, purpose, and innovation.
Every project starts with a conversation. I work closely with clients to define their goals, explore creative opportunities, and build a clear framework for development. From initial ideation and sketching through to refined concept models, I keep the process flexible and collaborative. Design rarely moves in a straight line, and I've learned that the best results come from staying open to iteration, exploration, and refinement.
Beyond traditional vehicle and product design, I also apply my concept development skills to the entertainment world—designing stylised, futuristic vehicles and props that are grounded in logic but elevated by imagination. Whether I'm exploring a race car or product concept, I aim to create designs that feel authentic, engaging, and full of potential.

A Typical Design Development Map

Zoom in to explore the details.
This example, based on an automotive design project, illustrates a primarily linear development journey. However, certain phases may overlap or form iterative loops, depending on insights gained along the way. Maintaining an agile, flexible approach is essential, especially when balancing performance and aesthetics, such as optimising aerodynamics without compromising design in a racing car project.
Race and Vehicle Styling
We produce award-winning designs that have positively impacted our clients' businesses. We have extensive experience working with some of the biggest names in motorsport.
CBD has collaborated with the engineering and aerodynamic teams for partners such as IndyCar, Dallara and Red Bull Advanced Technologies on a number of high-profile projects, helping the fast look faster.
Design Thinking and Ideation
Sometimes, you just have to look at things from a different perspective. We apply design thinking to all our projects, whether they are for the real world or a more futuristic application.
This helps us to look at the product or vehicle from the user's point of view and ensure they are able to interact with the design effectively.
Stakeholder and Investor Presentations
We can help produce high-level visual presentations that showcase a project's potential to your key share holders. We are accustomed to presenting ideas at the highest level, including company owners, presidents and department directors.
We can produce investor readiness material to help you raise important capital.
Product and Automotive rendering
A powerful tool for creating realistic and detailed images of cars and other vehicles. These images can be used in marketing materials, design and engineering processes, and other applications. We provide a full range of video production and content creation services, working with our clients to develop their needs into effective creative strategies.
Concept Design for Entertainment
We have a passion for vehicles and props. Using our background in product design and CGi, we can create futuristic, stylised concepts that will excite your audience and customers. We like to use the design philosophy that form always has to follow function to base our designs in some reality. But then, we can add a blob of sci-fi sauce to include potential innovations and the art of the possible.
Prototype Visualisation
Before a physical prototype exists, 3D animation allows you to visualise and present your product concept to stakeholders, investors, or internal teams. This accelerates feedback, aids decision-making, and can be a powerful tool during early-stage development or funding rounds.
Marketing and Advertising Content
3D animation brings products to life in visually striking ways that are perfect for commercials, digital ads, and social media campaigns. Whether it's lifestyle integration or highlighting innovation, animation helps differentiate your brand in a competitive marketplace.
Regulatory and Compliance Visualisation
Some industries require detailed explanations of how a product meets safety, environmental, or operational standards. 3D animations can help convey compliance processes clearly to both regulatory bodies and end-users.
Investor and Stakeholder Communication
A compelling animation can be the centrepiece of a pitch deck or stakeholder update. It demonstrates progress and vision in a format that’s easy to understand, even for non-technical audiences.
